if you use photoshop
                           how to make photoshop read dds files

step1:download,Link<Texture Tools for Adobe Photoshop >
p.s,don't install it in your photoshop folder

step2:after downloading open it Plug-Ins/File Formats/(dds) copy it

step3:look for your photoshop folder

example:C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Required\Plug-Ins
make a new folder and name it dds and past the (dds) file in it
done now you can open any dds file in your phtoshop
and if you want to turn it to any file format click in your photoshop save as and save it in any format you want

if you don't use photoshop

look for dds extractoro in the internet
