| I was requested to make a Armored Batman for origins but this means I need almost all the original texture files for the origins suit! Does anyone have all of them in bmp or could explain the use of dds files to me and could include the originals in dds? I'm also looking to find out more about what comes in 2048x2048 and what settings get you that high of res? All my textures I've extracted have been 1024x1024 except the Dark Knight Costumes Chest texture which I thought was really strange! I'm running at 1920x1080 but I can't seem to find a texture detail setting like I use to in Arkham City which I could set to Very High Res!

| lol Ya see I have that for bump maps but the thing is I don't understand what to do with a dds when I open it it seems to have a tone of layers of different sizes of the same image yet there are still one dds file for each resolution! I'm just really confused and dont see the point in them they seem like a waist of time compared to using bmp with a alpha layer. Do dds have alpha layers or something similar? I just know there must be some sort of benefit seeing as it is the original file format but I just don't see it. if anything they seem less useful and unorganized haha | |

| K I was loading Mipmaps that's why I got the duplicates! Which I also just figured out is the benefit of this file format allowing one image to contain lower res versions for faster smoother loading when the view requires a change in detail/ res. With that figured out do you have any idea what textures come in 2048x2048? I don't want to keep making mods if I could be making them at a higher resolution! | |
