Modding Issues

Hello there,

I´m having some serious issues creating my first Skin mod

-It worked when i just did the chest texture(Got glossy though...???)

-Now i´ve done the leg´s,the head and an chest underlayer to get rid of the original Symbol...

All that appears now when in the game is a normal but hilariously GLOSSY chest Piece...

I don´t even really know how to make the file with TexMod with multiple pieces(Chest,leg´s,etc.)

And neither can i find any in depth tutorial for Skin making.Only found  JAG´s but that just got me started....Please help,this is VERY frustrating....

what is it you are looking for exactly?

I would be thankfull for any Kind of help,the best though would be an in depth step by step tutorial.
My main question´s right now whould be:

-If i do multiple part´s of an suit,how do i convert them into one suit file?
-why do my part´s become glossy and how do i avoid that?Because i want the opposite...
-I´ve seen suit´s that have been tremendously re-texturized(like the TDKR...)HOW?

I am a freelance designer,3D moddeling,concept art,whatever...but i´ve never modded a Skin in my live XD.But it whould be hilarious and absolutely satisfying to see some of my Batman creations come to life,play with them in the game and share them with the community.Thank´s in advance for any Kind of help to achive that.

1: multiple files get converted into a single tpf file using texmod, have you seen my tutorial on that?

2: if you colour the extra layers of the textures certain colours, you get a different look on the overall
skin

3: thats is called "clone stamping" which i have done with many of my suits, including my tdkr robin, and tdkr nightwing

yes,i´ve seen your tutorial,that´s what got me into it(Thank´s).

So i started a Skin from skratch and it doesn´t even Show up in the game...

Is there some way i can send you the file or the entire Folder so you can have a look at it and tell me what i missed?

3 Question´s:

1:One of the skin´s i created appears damaged(you know skratches,holes...everyday crimefighter stuff..)How do i fix that?

2:I´ve texture painted a Skin(clone stamping),but the results are..meh,barely visible.I did that on the main chest Image,is that the wrong one?

3:How do i upload my Skins here so other Players can have some fun with them :p ?

1: most likely you need to clear the damage from the other layers

2: thats the right one, but again, you have the normalmap layer to clear as well

Why can´t i extract the blueish texture for the Leg´s???

i dont know, i have the same problem with deathstroke, it wont allow it for some reason

So,at Long last a new issue...Since i can´t finish my work´s on the original suit due to the non extractable bump map for the leg´s i wanted to move on to another suit.
Here´s my issue:
-How do i Access the other suit´s/Textures???
Couldn´t find anything about the Topic in the web or Forums...
Tried it by putting on the suit i wanted and extract them in the batcave....yeah,that didn´t work...lol
I´d really appreciate help here.

what suit textures are you looking for?

I want to work on ALL alternative suit´s.
Long Haloween,Blackest night,Brightest day,knight of the round table,noel,etc,etc.......just don´t know  where to extract them in-game......

you just need to start a game using that skin, so go into the batcave, put on the suit you want, and extract the textures

That´s the first thing i tried,somehow i must have overseen  the texture skin´s then..in that Little choice of over 17.000 textures XD....And since the mouse Cursor dissapears in there it´s kinda hard to filter the unesesary textures out....

Any trick or tipp to make this easier?
Pressing Substract to go backward´s doesn´t quiet work for me either since that makes me kill myself in-game...

you press * on the numpad to filter all the little textures out,

"Kinda" worked....I´m gonna try mod the suit now.Let´s see what happens....

Seem´s like i´m finally getting the hang of it...
One big question´s remains though:How do i Change the Color of the cape?
